MISSION
The Music Soldiers are committed to helping passionate individuals within the music and entertainment industries obtain access to information vital for sustaining their careers. With a foundation built on service, The Music Soldiers exist to protect, promote, and inform those within its network, and in doing so, hope to act as a trusted source for events, marketing campaigns, and well, just about everything else — you ask, and we’ll tell you if we can do it or not.
Music is the way we live, and we hope to provide the protection and knowledge creative people need to survive when the environment makes it difficult.
Liz Imler is a recent “immigrant” to New York from Virginia. An avid participant and observer of New York City’s vibrant music scene, Liz specializes in developing independent bands and artists and in organizing and promoting events, including writing biographies, press releases and conducting promotional campaigns, both on-line and off-line. While attending school at Virginia’s George Mason University, she worked for Ruckus Network (later Total Music) in building relationships with music providers and identifying music for weekly showcasing. Liz is a graduate of New York University’s graduate Music Business program.
