"A Reflection of Black History Through Music and Discussion"

Come one, come all.  Black history is everyone’s history.

NYU MEISA is celebrating the accomplishments of Africans and African Americans through a two day series of events with a Concert entitled Trials and Triumphs and a panel discussion entitled From Basin St. to Pennsylvania Ave.

The Concert will be held at the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium at the Kimmel Center 4th Fl on Thursday February 5, 2009. Showtime is at 8pm. Tickets are $5 w/NYU student ID $10 w/o NYU ID. On the day of the show – $10 with student ID, $12 w/o ID. Tickets can be purchased at Ticket Central on the 2nd fl of the Kimmel Center.

The Panel will also be at the Kimmel Center 400 series on Friday February 6, 2009. Free with concert ticket. Capacity for only 100.
